He did not single out one side over the other for praise or criticism, as each fought in support of their differing interpretations of the nation's rights and freedoms. Instead, in a nation formerly divided by a bitter conflict, he offered words of humble respect, honoring all those who had fought for their ideals.

In these troubling times over one hundred and forty-two years later, it is easy to lose oneself in the partisan politics that have once again divided this nation. But now the conflict isn't over differing domestic philosophies. Today, the conflict is in foreign lands. Whereas Lincoln's address to honor the soldiers took place upon a field of battle after the winds of war had ceased to blow, the current conflicts of this day and age continue to rage.

Our troops know that our nation is divided over these battles. Our troops need to know that we hold them in our highest regard, in spite of the opposition we may feel toward those who have misappropriated their dedication.

We therefore today offer this renewed dedication to the soldiers who faithfully serve our nation and her people. Together, we look to our leaders for resolution of these ongoing conflicts, conceived and executed behind the auspices of false justice, and which continue unabated, unaddressed, and unresolved.

Until such time as the leaders of this nation take steps to faithfully execute their roles and responsibilities, and demonstrate for our soldiers and fellow countrymen the same dedication that these men and women have shown in the overall performance of their duties, let these words remind our troops that we have not forgotten them.

Dedication to the US Armed Forces

from the People of the United States*

Two hundred and twenty-nine years ago our Founding Fathers brought forth on this continent a new nation, conceived in liberty and dedicated to the proposition that all people are created equal. Now we are engaged in foreign battles, initiated upon false premises, testing whether this nation or any nation so conceived and so dedicated can long endure.

The brave souls, living and dead, who have struggled in this time of war remind us of the costs of such folly far above our poor power to add or detract. The world will note and long remember what has been done and the damage we have wrought, and neither it nor we will ever forget.

It is for us, the living, to be re-dedicated to the unfinished work which those who have fought and died believed they nobly pursued.

It is for us, the survivors, to be dedicated to the great task remaining before us--that from these honored dead we take increased devotion to that cause for which they gave the last full measure of devotion--that we highly resolve that these dead shall not have died in vain, that this nation shall enjoy the re-birth of freedom, and that this government of the People, by the People, for the People shall not perish from this earth.

*Based upon the Gettysburg Address

America Rising

America Rising: The Second Revolution

Rise up, America, and make your voice heard. The politics of government have taken over where there was once a government of the people, by the people, and for the people. Liberty and justice are curtailed in the name of our security; but is not the security of our rights and freedoms the target of forces most foul? Are we no longer a nation of freedom and justice?

Our forefathers declared independence when the voices of our people went unheard in the corridors where their governance lay.

Likewise, our voice, expressed by our vote as well as our right to freedom of speech has been compromised. Our votes, cast with intent for our duly elected representatives to follow the desires of their constituents and our capacity to express dissent when such affairs of government justly deserve our criticism, are no longer counted.

In an election where our voice and our vote are crucial to the proper operation of this democratic republic, a horrifying amount of voter discrimination, disenfranchisement, and fraud are alleged to have occurred. Reports of these abuses are strongly discouraged, and called 'unpatriotic' by the very officials who have sworn to uphold their offices and their duties to protect our nation and our hard-won freedoms.

Legislation passed both in the wake of the September 11 attacks and recently has included provisions devised to circumvent our freedoms, liberties, and rights. Changes in the rules governing the operation of the Congress have both catered to partisan politics as well as impeded the process underlying our primary lawmaking body.

Our executive branch, intended to lead our nation and govern our affairs both domestic and foreign with integrity, insight, and forethought, has betrayed our trust not once, but repeatedly.

It is time to stop the injustices, and staunch the flow of our nation's lifeblood before the decay infesting our upper echelons destroys our nation.

It is time, as a nation of many, to rise up as one, and take back our country.

Cry, The Beloved Country

Individually, we are each but a single voice. Together, we are a powerful one. Just as one voice, joined by another, then another, can create a powerful harmony, we – the people of the United States, and fellow residents of the Americas – must now sound the clarion call to all who hold liberty dear. The national motto, once proudly displayed, stands unheeded, off to the side. E Pluribus Unum – "out of many, one".

Our country has been bitterly divided. We fight an unjust, illegal war overseas for reasons now known to be fabrications. Our election – one of our most sacred institutions – shows signs of corruption that are blatantly ignored, while an election far off in the Ukraine with nearly identical indicators for fraudulent proceedings is vehemently decried as unjust.

Our country is torn, bleeding and broken; our currency – once strong – rapidly weakens. Our country cries out for the help of its citizenry. Do not let this call fall upon deaf ears.

A Call To Arms

Politics has evolved beyond a skill of negotiation and compromise. It has grown into an individual entity, oft feeding upon itself and delving into the shadows ever in search of new ways and means to supplement its power.

The tools of the trade involve the manipulation of communications, facts, events, history, and perceptions. These tools constitute the 'weapons of mass destruction' responsible for the enacting of unjust wars, oppression of minorities, and disenfranchisement of voters.

It is time to arm ourselves, and tame the beast that we in part helped to create and feed.

This, however, is not a call to violence. Violence begets violence, as our recent history has shown. This time, the call to arms is a call to each and every citizen to utilize the only weapons that can kill the beast we have unleashed. The weapon is knowledge. The ammunition is the Truth, and the delivery system is peaceful, consistent expression. Our resilience, our fortitude, and our determination to use this weapon provide us with the strength to see this through. The target is the corrupted government. We must make our will be known.

Into the Heart of Darkness

A bitter, divisive darkness has spread across the land. The heart of it beats in the hallowed halls of our nation's capitol. The decay of our country from within must be stopped.

We must raise our voices over the din of those who utter cries against our Patriotism. Our voice – one voice, formed of many – must be heard. We need to act in unison, for our strength is in our numbers, and we will not be silenced.

And yet, it is with our silence that our voice will resonate most deeply.

The Silence of the Lambs

This call to rise up has but one objective: to be heard. In order to ensure the peace and tranquility of our nation, and unite that which has been divided, we must emerge from our shelters and converge upon the gathering places of our elected officials for the common good.

This time, it will not be with bullets that we fight to regain our rights. Armed with the truth, and with our resolve to eradicate the disease infesting our government institutions, we will fight – with silence.

On December 13, 2004, when the electors meet in their respective States to cast their votes for President and Vice President, every man, woman, and child is asked to converge upon a capital. State capital or nation's capital, it matters not. En masse, with quiet resolve and respect for property and authority, we will exercise our right to be heard, and to be seen.

Within each state, the gathering should begin at 9:11 am, and remain in place for the remainder of the day. The time reflects "A time to keep silence, and a time to speak...A time for war, and a time for peace." It honors those who fell in the attacks on the twin towers - a time of great sorrow, after which the rending of our Constitution began in earnest.

All Americans, all United States citizens, and all residents of the US, Canada, and Mexico, are hereby urged to participate in a show of solidarity. Converge upon your capital within your state, or within the nation, or upon the appropriate US consulate.

There is a dress code, a uniform to signal your participation.

US citizens should carry a small flag of the United States. This reflects your national allegiance to the flag, and the country for which is stands, one nation, indivisible.

All US citizens should in black, with a black hood. This reflects mourning, for the dead who have fought for our freedoms, and even now die in an attempt to find honor in a war unjustly initiated.

All US citizens should wear either black or mirrored sunglasses, to reflect what we have become back to those who blindly claim to follow the directive of their electorate.

And there will be optional war paint.

A single red stripe, drawn with lipstick, crossing the nose from cheek to cheek, to signify the blood price we have paid, and still pay, in the name of freedom and democracy.

Million Person Marches

The participants are urged to be peaceful. Violence begets violence. Just as our military deserves our support for the position they are forced into, and our police and fire departments should be respected for they must enforce laws to keep the citizenry safe, we must adhere to a strict policy of non-violence. And silence. The sheer number of people to involve should be staggering. Like shadows in the darkness, the uniforms should be hidden beneath other clothing until the time to reveal them is at hand.

The crowd should not disperse. The members should grow. And the police should be encouraged to help ensure peace, while permitting our will to be heard.

The time is approaching. When it arrives, do your part. If you are unable to participate, to travel to either a state capital building or the nation's capital, or an appropriate US consulate, then stop what you are doing. If you are driving, pull over and off to a safe distance, turn on your hazard indicators, and display a flag on the windshield. If you are shopping, stop – exit the store if you have no merchandise, and sit down safely out of harms way. Hold a small flag. Wear sunglasses.

If you are at work, shut off any machinery that you must monitor, observing all safety protocols, and go to a lunchroom or parking lot where you can find a safe place. Sit down, and display a flag. Encourage management to approve the action if you can – we don't need more unemployment.

If you are at school, stand up and display a small flag. Say the pledge of allegiance – with or without the 'under God', depending upon how you feel.

Do not act alone. Spread the word of the issues and problems, and ensure that you speak with others who spread the word. Try to come together at the right time, to create more safety in numbers.

We can make a difference. We can tell our government that it is no longer serving our interests, and issue an immediate cease and desist order to those who must respect our will.

Those who converge on the capital may need relief. They may need food, water, blankets, or bathroom breaks. They will be the ones who should try to stand in unison until Congress and the President issue orders for our election to be properly, impartially, and completely investigated.

This is our time. Let it not pass us by, or regret not the loss of the liberties our forefathers intended for us to have.
